As restrictions lift we can’t wait to get out and about and to support our local bars and restaurants this summer.
There’s a real buzz of excitement around the city and some amazing places for you to get out to and visit by bus this summer.
First stop (ding ding) is MediaCity UK, home to the striking, art-adorned dining pods, Box on the Docks. And this summer they have a new addition with the Box on the Docks Bar & Grill which is serving up the best independent street food, coffee and beers Salford and Manchester has to offer. Plus you can enjoy regular DJ sets and live music later in the day too.
You’ll also find SEVEN BRO7HERS brew house in the heart of MediaCityUK, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a pint and one of their signature burgers.
Or hop on a 192 and head out to Stockport for a craft beer pub crawl. Within easy walking distance of each other you’ll find Bakers Vaults serving up great food and beers or craft beer taproom Project 53, who also serve gin! Or head on over to The Good Rebel for a choice of beers and great cocktails.
And if you’re in Stockport why not go on the Robinson’s Brewery Tour? Samples are included!
If it’s been a while and you’re looking forward to heading into the city centre and catching up with your mates then look no further and the Northern Quarter for some of Manchester’s best activity bars. Twenty Twenty Two is a great underground spot for drinking cocktails and playing ping pong (and beer pong). Or you can enjoy retro gaming alongside craft beers and cocktails at NQ64.
So make the most of going out, out… you’ve got some catching up to do and enjoy a taste of freedom by bus. And don’t forget from 7pm to midnight our maximum single fare is just £2.
