Fun places to visit this half term

26 May 2021

We’re looking forward to getting out and about in Greater Manchester this half-term.

Whether it’s with teenagers or toddlers, there are so many things to do, and here's our round up of some of our favourite places to visit easily by bus.

Head into Manchester City Centre and you can explore 250 years of innovations and ideas that started life in Manchester and went on to change the world at the Science and Industry Museum, or discover Stan the T.rex and a Vivarium with newly bred Harlequin frogs at Manchester Museum, with 3 floors of displays and exhibitions it’s always a fun day out.

If interactive gaming is your thing, then Electric Gamebox located in Manchester Arndale is well worth a visit. Get graded by aliens, go mining on Mars or rescue some Corgis (and the rest of the Royal family) all in the centre of Manchester!

And if your little ones need to work off some energy then look no further than Head over Heels soft play centres in Chorlton and Wilmslow, where families can come together to eat, play and relax.

Or enjoy a family day at Reddish Vale Farm. This petting farm has some of the most adorable animals and a large outside playground, indoor play barn and tearooms.

We’ve also got a number of discounts for family days out with Stagecoach Rewards

Please remember to check if venues require pre-booking before visiting.

Plan your journey.
