STAGECOACH MANCHESTER APPOINTS REBECCA RATHORE AS NEW OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Greater Manchester’s largest bus operator, Stagecoach, has announced its latest appointment to the leadership team.

Rebecca Rathore has been appointed to the role of Operations Director at Stagecoach Manchester, taking over from Matthew Kitchin who has taken up the role of Managing Director at Stagecoach Yorkshire.

Rebecca has an extensive career in the transport sector, serving as Head of Ground Transport and Landside Support at Manchester Airport for four years, as well as holding positions at Transport for Greater Manchester, Southern Railway, The Go-Ahead Group and National Express.

Commenting on her new role at Stagecoach Manchester, Rebecca said: “I’m incredibly excited to join the Greater Manchester team and begin working with them at such a pivotal time of change for the transport sector. I’m grateful for the opportunity to apply the knowledge I’ve learnt over the years to a new area and I can’t wait to get started.”

Rebecca will be responsible for Greater Manchester operations which includes over 1,800 drivers and 700 buses covering over 23.9 million miles a year across the region.
