Stagecoach Manchester have announced additional buses for the community in the run up to the festive season.
With people out and about enjoying Manchester’s festivities, from the Christmas Markets to Christmas shopping or celebrating with colleagues and friends, Stagecoach Manchester are providing additional buses to make sure people can travel around the region with ease.
The extra buses are running until Saturday 23rd December in addition to those timetabled on the busiest routes to keep the people of Greater Manchester connected this Christmas.
With single bus fares for £2 or less and day tickets for £5, and now these extra buses the people of Greater Manchester have an easy, low cost and sustainable way of getting around.
Post Covid, bus services nationally had suffered due to a shortage of drivers, but Stagecoach Manchester have been working hard to resolve this. Rob Jones, Managing Director of Stagecoach Manchester said: “We’re happy to announce the additional buses to support the people of Greater Manchester during such an important time of the year.
“We’d also like to thank our customers for being so patient over the last few years and would like to reassure everyone that we are back to delivering reliable bus services with over 99.4% of scheduled bus journeys now operating every day.”
