Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

We are pleased to announce we will operate service 280 from 17th June

10 Jun 2019

We are pleased to announce that we will take over operation of service 280 (Preston - Clitheroe - Skipton) from Monday 17th June 2019. We have been working in partnership with Lancashire County Council to try and secure the continued operation of this vital bus service and customers will be pleased to note that the service will continue to operate, with no break in service.

A revised timetable will be introduced, with buses now also serving Earby Bus Station, between Barnoldswick and Skipton, reinstating links between Earby and Skipton.

Timetable

Those people with season tickets issued by Preston Bus should make contact directly with them for details of how to get a refund on any unused portion of these tickets, as they will not be valid for travel on the Stagecoach service 280.

We will be offering a full range of ticket options for customers, which are detailed below. As a general rule, 'Preston Citi' zone tickets will be valid for travel between Preston and Tickled Trout (M6 junction 31), 'Central Lancs' zone tickets will be valid for travel between Preston and Clitheroe Community Hospital and 'Lancashire Dayrider / Megarider Gold / North West Explorer' tickets will be valid throughout the full route.
