In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

We’ve launched an even more convenient way for our customers to pay for their bus travel with the addition of Apple Pay and Google Pay through the Stagecoach Bus App.
The new payment methods make it even easier to buy Stagecoach tickets through the app.
The Stagecoach Bus app – launched last year and downloaded by hundreds of thousands of passengers – enables customers to buy and download day and weekly bus tickets straight to their mobile phone. Payments via the app can also be made by PayPal or via debit or credit card.
The app also provides customers with journey planning, next-stop information and live bus tracking to make their journeys even smoother. It’s free to download to mobile devices from the App Store and Google Play Store.
The latest update to the app also includes a card scanner feature which customers can use when adding a new payment method at 'Secure checkout' using a debit/credit card.
Customers can also use fingerprint recognition to confirm their password when making purchases within the Stagecoach Bus App.
