An Escape to the Lake District

03 May 2018

We all know that the constant rush of city life can all get a bit too much — early mornings, commutes to work and all of the general tasks of being an adult in between. On top of all of that, we need our much-treasured sleep which sometimes leaves us thinking that we’ve wasted so much of the day.

Here at Stagecoach, we understand that sometimes you need a little break from everything and there’s no better place to go than the Lake District. Don’t feel guilty about taking a holiday from work or cancelling your weekend plans last minute — you deserve some time to yourself.

In this article, we’ll discuss some of the places where you must visit on your trip — you’ve got 24 hours, let’s start the day off with breakfast…

Graze Café, Windemere

Overlooking the main street, Graze Café is the perfect spot for breakfast to start your day. Cumbria Life recently named the café as one of their top ten places to eat in their newcomers section — showing that the local and tourist recognition they receive is really paying off. Owned by two people, the food is cooked and prepared as you order, ensuring that you receive food of the highest quality during your visit. Whatever you're into there's plenty to choose from - from avocado on toast to a fry up.
