Coronavirus Update Close

Following government announcements on the roadmap out of lockdown and plans to gradually restore greater normality to everyday lives, we're making plans to get more services back on the road, including school services from 8th March. Please continue to check our latest timetables page for more information.

Let's keep working together to make travel as safe as possible. We're still doing enhanced cleaning and limiting available seats. You can help by avoiding busy times, using contactless payment where you can, keeping your distance and taking your litter with you.

You must wear a face covering throughout your journey, unless you are exempt.

Best Bonfire Nights 2019

09 Oct 2019

It’s that time of year again - Guy Fawkes Night. What better way to celebrate a failed gunpowder plot than with fireworks and a giant bonfire to burn an effigy of the accused traitor?! The evening also comes with some traditional snackage of toffee apples, warming soups, toasted (or in our experience cremated) marshmallows and more. Here are our top picks of Bonfire Night events up and down the country.

Take the bus this year

Bonfire Night is a great opportunity to gather with friends, enjoy some good food and gaze at the skies for a night of wonder and magic. But sometimes, the logistics of heading out to these organised events can take the shine off the day.

We've got some great value tickets this Autumn so why not take the bus this year? That way, you can leave the car at home, get wrapped up and not have to worry about a designated driver, parking the car in a busy car park full of pedestrians, or how you’ll ferry large groups of friends back and forth.

At Stagecoach, we operate up and down the country, take a look at our Plan a Journey page to find a bus route to take you to Bonfire Night this year.
