Stagecoach North East is encouraging people across Sunderland to make the most of the city's new Food and Drink Festival.
The three day event, showcasing celebrity chefs and tasty treats from local and international kitchens, will be taking over the city centre from Friday 21 June until Sunday 23 June 2019.
The Sunderland dayrider and megarider tickets offer value for money bus travel and provide a perfect opportunity for residents in Sunderland to visit a variety of stalls offering local produce from local traders, street food and speciality food and drinks plus music and street entertainment.
The Sunderland dayrider ticket allows customers to travel across Sunderland all day for just £3.90 and the Sunderland megarider ticket provides seven days of unlimited travel for £13.
Keel Square will be the heart of the event, where a marquee will house live cookery demonstrations and master classes throughout the weekend.
Organised by Sunderland BID, Sunderland City Council and R&R Events, the event is free to enter. For further information, visit www.sunderlandbid.co.uk/events/sunderland-food-and-drink-festival
