Stagecoach 10p travel offer mean great days out this half term

23 Oct 2019

Families in Teesside and Hartlepool can enjoy cheaper days out this half term as Stagecoach North East once again brings its value for money travel offer.

The popular ten pence travel offer is available on Stagecoach buses across the Tees Valley region for young people aged 16 and under, ensuring affordable travel for families making the most of the half term break.

The local bus operator is helping to keep the young ones happy with lots of Halloween themed activities and entertainment on offer across the Tees Valley, such as spooky storytelling at Dorman Museum, Halloween Trail and Pumpkin Carving at Newham Grange Farm, or spooky games and crafts at Saltholme Wildlife Reserve.

By simply purchasing a daytripper or dayrider plus, or showing a valid megarider, from 26 October until 3 November, adults can take up to two under 16-year olds along for the ride for just ten pence each. Moreover, up to four children under five are able to travel with an adult absolutely free. All tickets are available online and from the driver on board Stagecoach North East services in Teesside and Hartlepool.

Martin Musther, Operations Manager at Stagecoach North East’s Teesside depot commented: “With many Halloween-themed activities and events on over the half term for everyone to enjoy, Teesside is a great area and offers families countless opportunities to have enjoyable days out.

“There is so much to see and do whatever the autumn weather, with shopping and sightseeing alongside coast and countryside all on our doorstep, so hop on board to help keep the children entertained.”

The daytripper ticket is £4.60 which allows travel on both Stagecoach and Arriva services within the boroughs of Stockton and Middlesbrough. The dayrider ticket is valid on all Stagecoach buses in Hartlepool for £3.80. The dayrider plus ticket is £5.70 and allows unlimited travel on all Stagecoach buses throughout Teesside and Hartlepool.

The 7-day Teesside megarider ticket is available for £13.50 and allows unlimited travel on all Stagecoach buses throughout Teesside. The 7-day Hartlepool megarider ticket is available for £12.50 and the £17.00 megarider plus ticket allows unlimited travel on all Stagecoach buses throughout Teesside and Hartlepool.
