Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

Sleep in the Park is the largest ever event of its type; with around 10,000 people joining together to call for an end to homelessness, for good. Social Bite are hosting four events, one in each major Scottish city. Each will feature gigs from superstar acts, a bedtime story from an iconic local figure and the voices of those with lived experience – people who have experienced homelessness and housing insecurity. Thousands of people will sleep out under the stars together, taking a stance, having raised not only money but their voices to champion change in Scotland.
Stagecoach North Scotland is supporting the charity event in the city centre this weekend with a free shuttle bus and discount options for those travelling to the city for the event.
Social Bite is on a mission to build a collaborative movement to end homelessness in Scotland. Using a pioneering social enterprise model, they enable people affected by homelessness to transform their own lives. They are building a movement to end homelessness by generating funds, awareness and action across all sections of society; believing that a Scotland where everyone has a safe place to call home is possible.
On Saturday 8th December and Sunday 9th December participants of the event will be able to take advantage of a 20% discount on bus services connecting to Aberdeen from Ellon, Inverurie, Banchory and Stonehaven. The discount Is available to those registered to take part in the event and can be redeemed on the Stagecoach app using a discount code available from the event organisers.
In addition to the support for those travelling from Aberdeenshire to the event the local bus operator is also providing a free shuttle bus back to the city centre from Duthie Park on Sunday 9th December. The free shuttle bus will depart Duthie Park every 15 minutes from 6am until 9am and will connect directly to Union Square Bus Station.
