Free shuttle bus for Sleep in the Park

07 Dec 2018

Sleep in the Park is the largest ever event of its type; with around 10,000 people joining together to call for an end to homelessness, for good. Social Bite are hosting four events, one in each major Scottish city. Each will feature gigs from superstar acts, a bedtime story from an iconic local figure and the voices of those with lived experience – people who have experienced homelessness and housing insecurity. Thousands of people will sleep out under the stars together, taking a stance, having raised not only money but their voices to champion change in Scotland.

Stagecoach North Scotland is supporting the charity event in the city centre this weekend with a free shuttle bus and discount options for those travelling to the city for the event.

Social Bite is on a mission to build a collaborative movement to end homelessness in Scotland. Funds raised through the event will support Housing First – an innovative housing model providing accommodation as well as wrap around support, enabling people experiencing homelessness to break that cycle and reach their potential. We are excited to see how the partnership will continue to grow.  A huge thanks go to Stagecoach North Scotland who have chosen to join us in our mission to end homelessness in Scotland.”
