Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

26 Apr 2019

Stagecoach North Scotland is supporting the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival in 2019 with additional services operating between Elgin and Dufftown.

Spirit of Speyside is now in its 20th year and is set to take place from 1st until 6th May. Following the success in previous years, the service 36 bus timetable between Elgin and Dufftown will be enhanced to allow visitors to explore all the festival has to offer with ease.

Stagecoach service 36 connects Elgin and Dufftown every hour Monday to Saturday and during the festival the service has been enhanced to operate on Sunday 5th May too. On May Day, Monday 6th May all bus services in Moray will operate to a Saturday service.

Those who have booked to attend one of over 500 inspired events held as part of the festival can also take advantage of discounted bus travel. A day ticket for bus travel in the Moray area will cost just £7 when a valid Whisky Festival event booking is shown to the bus driver. This ticket will connect from Dufftown to Elgin and as far as Forres and Keith.

David Liston, Managing Director for Stagecoach North Scotland said: "It is fantastic to see the Whisky Festival going from strength to strength and we are delighted to be able to continue to provide additional transport options over the weekend for those visiting as well as our special discounted ticket. We hope that the additional bus connections on Sunday will ensure festival goers can enjoy an extra dram as we'll take care of the driving."

Tickets are still available for the festival at spiritofspeyside.com
