Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Route S5 and 26 will now be serving Kingsmere

06 Apr 2015

From the 19th April we will be improving bus services to Kingsmere by changing the route of the 26 to serve more of the development and diverting some rush hour journeys on our S5 service to give a direct service for commuters to and from Oxford City Centre.

Route 26

Buses on the 26 from Bicester will run up the Middleton Stoney Road to Whitelands Way as now, but will then continue along Whitelands Way, serving new stops with the development, to Vendee Drive and return to the town centre via the Chesterton Roundabout and A41.

Route S5

The S5 commuter journeys which serve Bowmont Square on Mondays - Saturdays will now also serve Kingsmere, and will run from the Chesterton roundabout to Shakespeare Drive via Vendee Drive and Whitelands Way instead of via the A41 and Middleton Stoney Road.

All other journeys will still serve the Bicester Village stop as now.

From the same date we are making some minor changes to the two commuter journeys worked by Oxford Tube coaches to improve reliability.  They will now leave Caversfield 5 minutes earlier at 0720 and 0745 but times from Pioneer Square and subsequent stops will stay the same.

These two trips will no longer serve the stop at Wendlebury Turn.
