1) Blenheim Palace - Illuminated Christmas Lights Trail

When? 23rd November 2018 - 1st January 2019

What? The grounds of the Woodstock stately home and UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site are decorated with lasers, projections and thousands of pea-lights. The magical illuminated trail winds through the landscape, highlighting Blenheim Palace’s rich history, all with the magic and wonder of the festive season. Highlights include the Field of Light, scented Fire Garden, Canopy of Light, and the mesmerising voices of the Singing Trees.

2) Blenheim Palace - Cinderella, a festive fairy tale experience

When? 23rd November 2018 - 6th January 2019

What? Explore the State Rooms of Blenheim Palace seasonally decorated and lavishly themed into the magical fairy tale fantasy world of Cinderella. A charming experience for all ages and a great way to see the Palace's stunning collection of portraits, tapestries and furniture.

3) Oxford Christmas market

When? 7th - 22nd December 2018

What? The city of dreaming spires will once again be filled with festive joy as the Oxford Christmas Market returns to the heart of the city on the beautiful and historic Broad Street.

With the sound of choirs singing Christmas carols, market traders offering unusual and handmade gifts, colourful decorations brightening wooden stalls and the aroma of mulled wine and cinnamon drifting in the air - a visit to the Oxford Christmas Market is a truly magical Christmas experience.

4) Banbury Gateway - Santa's Christmas Bus

When? 16th December 2018 11am - 4pm

What? Hop aboard the Stagecoach bus at Banbury Gateway on Sunday 16th December to visit Santa in his magical Christmas grotto! Enjoy chocolatey treats and take a selfie with Santa himself, plus children can enjoy free festive glitter tattoos!

5) Christmas at Westgate

21st - 24th December 2018 – Abbey Brass Band and Abingdon Town Band

What? Enjoy your favourite Christmas carols as you shop, performed by Abbey Brass Band and Abingdon Town on selected dates in December.

6) Nativity The Musical at the New Theatre Oxford

When? 7th - 15th December 2018

What? Feel-good, funny and full of yuletide joy, Nativity! The Musical features all of the favourite sing-a-long hits from the films including Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth, One Night One Moment, She’s the Brightest Star and a whole host of new songs filled with the spirit of Christmas!
