Oxford Tube announces massive discounts during Chrismas fares promotion.

  • Some fares reduced by more than 40%
  • Travel between Oxford and London from just £13 return
  • Festive promotion to run until 13 January 2019

Leading coach operator the Oxford Tube has announced massive discounts for customers during a Christmas fares promotion.

The company – which operates 24hour coach services between Oxford and London every day of the year – is slashing some fares by more than 40% during the promotional period, while continuing to deliver the same level of service for customers.

The festive fares promotion begins on Sunday 28 October and will run until 13 January 2019 and will offer some huge discounts on a range of tickets, helping to connect people with friends and family over the Christmas and New Year period.

The special fare offers include:


  • Oxford Tube Travel for senior customers and students is just £8 single (previously £11) and £13 return (previously £14)
  • Adult travel between Oxford and London is £9 single (previously £16) and £15 return (previously £19)
  • Child single available at £5 (previously £8) and return £7.50 (previously £9.50)

The Oxford Tube offers 924 services and 77,274 seats between Oxford and London every single week and is one of Europe’s most frequent coach services with departures every 12 minutes.

“We want to be part of that celebration and help people’s budgets go further so we’re delighted to be offering these great value discounts while still delivering our usual high levels of service.”

The Oxford Tube has also confirmed it will be running services once again this year right through the festive season, including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
