Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Improvements to Eastbourne bus times

17 Feb 2015

Eastbourne Route 1 Bus

Stagecoach has announced changes to several Eastbourne bus routes which have been designed to improve punctuality in response to the increase in traffic congestion.

The changes, which will come into effect on 2 March 2015, include improvements to morning weekday journeys on routes 1 & 1A, which run between Eastbourne and Hailsham.

The timetables for routes 3 & 3A to Meads, route 51 to Heathfield and route 56 to District General Hospital have also been revised with route 56 buses now departing Terminus Road from stop E instead of stop H.

On route 54, buses which serve north Uckfield will no longer call at Uckfield bus station on the way to Hailsham and Eastbourne to reduce journey times.

The new timetables are available to view online.
