Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Green Week Competition Winner

Whitstable resident Lorna Stockley was the lucky winner of Stagecoach’s Green Week competition, winning a year's free travel pass.

Green Week is a national campaign that promotes environmental awareness amongst Stagecoach staff and customers. This year’s Green Week ran from 1-5 June and on 2 June the team at Canterbury handed out ‘green’ freebies at the bus station on St George’s Lane.

In the weeks leading up to Green Week, Stagecoach also ran a national competition where one passenger from every region would win a year's free local travel.

The lucky winner from the South East region was Lorna Stockley who lives in Whitstable. The news came as a shock to Lorna, who said: "I saw the competition advertised but never thought I'd actually win! I will definitely be using the bus more often now!”
