Coronavirus Update Close

We all need to do whatever we can to protect each other from Coronavirus, so in line with the latest government guidance, there are measures in place to help you to travel with confidence, including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering when using public transport, throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page.

There are temporary timetables in Wales between 25 October and 9 November due to a two-week Welsh Government lockdown.

It's A Knockout Dover Thanet

Local bus company Stagecoach continued its support for Pilgrims Hospices as Thanet depot’s ‘Loop Troupe’ team finished in an impressive third place during the ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge on Sunday 31st May.

The three teams of employees from Stagecoach’s Thanet and Dover depots, including bus drivers, administrators and engineers, took part in an action packed day at Government Acre, Ramsgate which involved teams participating in several activities including obstacle courses and agility challenges, all involving a lot of water!

Stagecoach has supported Pilgrims Hospices since 2013, raising over £10,000 for the charity. Several employees also participated in the Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge on 3rd May, with the company sponsoring the event.

Karen Kenward, Pilgrims Hospices Regional Fundraising Manager added: “I would like to thank Stagecoach for their wonderful support to our It’s a Knockout event and their continued support  through raising awareness with our Sponsor a Nurse campaign that Stagecoach kindly agreed to have displayed on one of their buses. From patients and staff we thank you all so very much.”
