Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales, please wear a face covering, if you can.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Go further in Folkestone

10 Aug 2018

Are you in the zone?

You possibly are, but you don’t even know it! Folkestone just got a lot bigger. You can now travel further by bus with your Folkestone dayrider ticket. This is great news if you live in Hythe, Palmarsh, Hawkinge, Etchinghill or Capel - all now included in the Folkestone travel zone.

Make a day of it

A dayrider ticket allows unlimited travel in the Folkestone zone; so you can jump on and off any Stagecoach bus as many times as you want. Your ticket lasts all day, so you can use it to get into town and travel back anytime (up to the last bus at night).

It means a great deal!

For under 19s you can buy a Folkestone dayrider U19 for only £2.90 on the app or £3 on the bus.

An adult dayrider ticket will cost you £4.30 on the bus or, if you use a smartphone, you can buy on the Stagecoach Bus App for just £4.

If you’re a group travelling together with two adults and up to three children then you can buy a Folkestone Family dayrider for £8.60 on the bus or £8 on the App.

App tickets are quick and easy to use, you can buy in advance and you don’t need to be online to activate your ticket. More info about our app is available here.
