A bus driver from Herne Bay has swapped his Stagecoach uniform for a homemade Santa costume. You can see him out and about spreading goodwill and goodies to bus passengers across the district.
Grandfather Terry Clowes, who's been a bus driver at the company's Herne Bay depot for nearly nine years, said "I really look forward to being Santa at Christmas. My grandson was born two years ago and I wanted to do something special for his birthday. I thought why not spread the cheer for everyone."
"I made the suit myself this Christmas and I've been getting a fantastic response wherever I go. It feels cosy driving around in the outfit and one lady even got me doing face-time with her relative in Spain!"
Santa will be behind the wheel of buses in Canterbury, Faversham, Whitstable and Herne Bay from now until Christmas. Will you meet Santa Clowes this Christmas?
