In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

It's not long now until Christmas! So wherever you're going and whatever you're planning to do over the Christmas and New Year period - why not take the bus?
Stagecoach are pleased to announce that for the very first time, special Boxing day timetables will be introduced on routes 24, which will run hourly between Blaenavon, Pontypool, Cwmbran and Newport; and the 132, also hourly, between Porth, Pontypridd and Cardiff. Certain journeys on the 132 will extend to and from Maerdy.
Nigel Winter, Managing Director for Stagecoach in South Wales said 'We have not operated any services on Boxing Day in recent years, however due to the increase in shopping opportunities, particularly with the recent opening of the Friars Walk Shopping Centre in Newport, and the St David’s Centre in Cardiff, we believe there is demand for a service provision on this day.
The festive period is also a time when people like to travel to see friends and family and we hope these additional services will provide them with a public transport option to make their journey."
Service 24 will run from Newport Market Square bus station, adjacent to the Friars Walk Centre. In Cardiff, service 132 will run from Lower St Mary Street, outside the Philharmonic, just a short walk to St David’s Centre.
