Stagecoach launch eye catching new driver recruitment campaign: ‘Come Drive With Us’

23rd February 2015 - Stagecoach Southwest has taken an eye catching approach to driver recruitment with the unveiling of its latest campaign: ‘Come Drive With Us’. Taking its inspiration from the popular Channel 4 reality television series, ‘Come Dine With Me’, the light hearted campaign will appear from 2nd March across bus rears, posters and online and features staff who work for the transport operator. Further bursts of advertising which play on other reality shows will appear across the rest of the year.

Explaining the new approach Michael Watson, Managing Director of Stagecoach South West, commented “Much like a great dinner party host, the best bus drivers know how to make everyone feel welcome. Great customer service can make our customers’ day and, in this role, no two days are the same. And as those we feature in the campaign can testify, driving with us can not only be a job for life, but also open up opportunities to progress within the company. Stagecoach provides local bus services right across Devon and into Somerset, Cornwall and Dorset. Driving roles are currently available at the Exeter depot and successful applicants can expect to work on the busy city network as well as routes which run to other locations across the greater Exeter area and beyond.
