- Consultations scheduled in Bideford 20 August and Barnstaple 27 August
- Feedback from bus surgeries held in the Spring has been used to inform proposed changes
- Draft timetables will be available for service 19 (Bideford event) and service 8 (Barnstaple)
Stagecoach South West has announced today that it will be holding two public consultations where it will present proposals for its North Devon bus network.
The first consultation will take place at Bideford Conservative Club on Saturday 20 August from 10.00-12.00 and will focus on service 19 which connects North Devon Hospital, Barnstaple, East the Water, Bideford and Appledore. This new service was introduced at the end of March this year to create an express link between Bideford and Barnstaple.
The second consultation will be held at the Guildhall in Barnstaple on Saturday, 27 August from 10.00-13.00 and will put forward ideas for changes to service 8 (Whiddon Valley and Forches).
Members of Stagecoach’s management team will be on hand at both events to speak to customers.
Chris Harbour, Operations Manager for North Devon, said: “I’m looking forward to meeting our customers to discuss our ideas for our North Devon services. These have been prompted by the extremely useful feedback we gathered at the surgeries we ran earlier in the year.”
Draft timetables for the services will be available at each event.
