Stagecoach South West announced today that, on Wednesdays during June, customers can fly by Falcon for just £1.

The £1 Falcon Megaday offer applies to bookings made in advance via megabus.com for travel on 8, 15, 22 and 29 June only. Customers can choose to travel between Bristol, Bristol Airport, Taunton, Exeter or Plymouth.  All bookings are subject to a 50p booking fee.

The South West Falcon, connecting Devon with Somerset and Bristol, launched in February. Online booking with megabus.com launched the following the month to help customers plan their journeys - and get the best deals - by booking ahead.

Managing Director of Stagecoach South West, Bob Dennison, commented, “Since our launch in February, the Falcon has really taken off. I hope our fantastic Falcon Megadays offer will encourage even more people to fly by Falcon across the South West.”

The £1 ‘Megaday’ offer is only available from the megabus.com website. Alternatively, customers can still ‘turn up and go’ at the bus stop and buy their ticket direct from the driver in cash and at the normal price. For regular commuters, season tickets are available online at swfalcon.com and from their driver.

Customers can also follow the Falcon on Twitter @flyswfalcon.  As well as service update news, the account features exclusive news and offers for Falcon customers.

Stagecoach launched the South West Falcon on 14 February. The eight brand new Falcon coaches represent a £2.5 million investment by Stagecoach. All feature free Wi-Fi as well as air conditioning, leather seats and charging sockets. The Falcon runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.1
