We’ve listened to your feedback! We’re introducing a new timetable from September 6th 2020 to routes E1/E2 seeing the route extended to serve High Street & Cheeke Street every 15 minutes.
You let us know that recent changes to our route E were not working for you, so we’ve had another look at the route, to help you can make easier connections across Exeter.
Connecting to routes F1 or F2, is now much simpler for passengers heading towards Savoy Hill or Summerway. The new E1/E2 route stops at Cheeke Street which is less than 200 metres away from Sidwell Street Stop 23.
By re- routing buses onwards to the city centre you’re also that much nearer to a number of onward services. Buses will now serve High Street stops 3 and 6, so you’ll have many more cross city connections. For example connections to Countess Wear and Digby can be made via routes I and J. Routes A and the Green P&R also provide convenient links to go to the hospital. Wherever you’re heading across Exeter, our city network will get you there. Here’s a handy list of services you can interchange to:
A Alphington or Thornpark Rise
B Marsh Barton and Exminster
D University or St Lukes
H St David’s Station or RD&E Hospital and Digby
F Savoy Hill or Summerway
K Science Park and Whipton
