Exeter Jubilee Street Party

Exeter is marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a street party on the high street for residents and visitors.

The event is sure to be a fun day out for the whole family with tables and benches along the High Street for you to come along and join in the festivities. Bring your own picnic or grab a delicious takeaway from the variety of nearby restaurants in the city centre.

There will be a line-up of fantastic live music, street entertainers and a host of family friendly activities.

For a full programme of activities across the day visit the dedicated Jubilee Street Party page. Download the official Exeter Jubilee Street Party map here! Bring your flags, bunting and hats along, it's time to celebrate!

Plus you’ll be able to visit two celebration buses, which will be in attendance on the day! We’ve kitted out two of our buses in a special Jubilee design, one of which will be featured at the street party.  You’ll see the stunning dedicated Jubilee bus at the High Street – Sidwell Street Junction. So come along and say hello to our friendly driver Adrian, who will be handing out Jubilee themed goodies!

Plus our friends at The Devon General Omnibus Trust are bringing a along vintage bus,  VDV 817, dates from 1957 and is representative of the open-platform rear-entrance AEC Regent V double-deckers purchased by Devon General for use on Exeter city services, it ran until 1971! The Devon General Omnibus Trust is a registered charity established in 2013 to carry out the restoration, preservation and operation of historic vehicles that once carried the livery of the Devon General Omnibus & Touring Company Ltd. They welcome donations in support of their work - please see the website dgot.org.uk.
