Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales from the 27 July it will be compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Student fares in West Sussex from 1st January 2017

30 Dec 2016

West Sussex County Council have confirmed that the 3in1 scheme that gives students discounted travel on bus services will be withdrawn at the end of December 2016.

From 1st January 2017, a new West Sussex Unirider ticket will be available priced at £214 per term. The ticket is available to all Stagecoach customers aged 16-21 inclusive, who attend a School, College or University in West Sussex.

It covers the Megarider Gold ticket area, so can be used for journeys outside of West Sussex when you are not travelling to School, College or University.

A form of Student ID is required when using this ticket. Customers who are eligible to purchase this ticket but who don't have a Student ID, are advised to apply for a Sussex Student Card, details of which can be found at the address below. You can purchase and use your West Sussex Unirider whilst you wait for your Sussex Student Card to arrive.

The Gold Termrider, priced at £170 per term, is available to those aged 16 and under who are attending school.

Details of how to get a Sussex Student Card can be obtained from your School or College or from the West Sussex County Council website.
