Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

Managing Director of Compass, Chris Chatfield, said: “We are incredibly proud of our new vehicles, and this is good news for our customers. Route 7 provides essential cross town links for the communities of Worthing and Lancing. We're very pleased to have worked with Stagecoach to secure these latest buses which represent a further investment by ourselves to local bus transport in the area".
Chris also confirmed that the new buses meet the latest exhaust emissions requirements, so will improve air quality in the area.
The commercial partnership between the two bus operators was introduced in 2012 and was the first Stagecoach service to be franchised in the South.
