Andover depot donate to support local pre-school in their quest for new chairs

21 Jul 2017

small Andover Children from St Michael's pre-school in Andover can enjoy new chairs thanks to Stagecoach South’s Andover depot and their recent donation of £420.

St Michael's provides early years learning to children from 2 years 9 months to school age and has been doing so for 35 years. The pre-school had recently raised money to invest in new class room tables. However they were still short of enough funds to cover the cost of new chairs for the children.

After getting in touch with the local Stagecoach depot at Andover, the bus company were able to donate £420 to the pre-schools worthy cause. This will go towards providing 10 new chairs for the classrooms.

Paul Madeley Assistant Operations Manager for Andover Depot says “We were extremely pleased to provide this much needed donation to the pre-school. Stagecoach prides itself on being a part of the local community and assisting where we can in worthwhile causes”

Jo Rubinstein Preschool Chairman was thrilled when she heard Stagecoach would offer their support. She said ”

The pre-school hopes to have all its new tables and chairs in place ready for the new term in September".
