Keith Gait, Customer Service Director for Stagecoach South, said: “This is fantastic news for our customers in Guildford. The service will provide an hourly service Tuesday to Sunday early mornings during University term time. It’s a really safe way for the residents of Guildford to get home from a night out as well as providing a late night and early morning service for employees of local businesses and services in the area’.

Routes 1 and 2, available to everyone including commuters, shoppers and students of the University of Surrey provide a frequent 10 minute service between the town centre and the University Monday to Fridays, and a 15 minute service between Stoughton and Guildford. Both routes operate every 15 minutes on Saturdays and every 20 minutes during Sundays and Public Holidays, providing regular connections across town.

Buses on the routes carry a distinctive livery showcasing the partnership between the University of Surrey and Stagecoach, and come equipped with onboard USB charging points, free wifi and contactless payment technology.
