In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

A bus employee who recently completed an internal Staff development programme has now taken a step up the career ladder after being appointed as Assistant Operations Manager for local bus operator Stagecoach South at its Chichester depot.
Jeetinder Mattu from Aldershot, known by his colleagues simply as 'Jet' will support the Operations Manager, Mike Armitage to oversee the day-to-day running of the regional operations, which includes looking after a fleet of and a team of over .
Jet joined Stagecoach in 2012 as a driver in Aldershot. He then progressed to the training team In 2013 working as a driving instructor and later CPC Trainer.
In 2018 Jet joined the Stagecoach Staff Development Programme which is a national training programme that seeks to encourage and support staff to learn and gain management experience, opening up career prospects within the company. The programme covers Operations, HR, finance, commercial & marketing aspects.
Jet, who is excited about his new role said “I learned a great deal from the staff development programme and I am looking forward to putting this learning into practice as we seek to grow our products and network to help our customers and communities across Chichester and Bognor Regis.”
