Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

Stagecoach West is pleased to announce the launch of new Under-19 Dayrider tickets for Hereford and the Forest of Dean.
Following a review of services and consultation with local MP Jesse Norman, Stagecoach West has identified the opportunity to offer cheaper travel to young people in the area.
From 3rd September, those 18 and under will be able to enjoy unlimited travel on local Stagecoach West services in the Hereford or Forest of Dean zones for just £4 a day, from 09:30am onwards on weekdays and all day on weekends.
The company is continually reviewing its offering across the region to ensure the best transport options for local residents, as well as to encourage wider use of public transport – particularly among young people.
Commenting, Jesse Norman MP said "This is very good news for young people in South Herefordshire. I am delighted that Stagecoach West have responded positively to my calls for lower day fares for young people.
"We need to have more young people using local bus services! I look forward to working with Stagecoach West in future on other ways to help this happen."
