National lockdown restrictions are in place across England until 2 December but bus services are running as normal. You should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons. 

In South Wales, all of our timetables will go back to what we were running before the 'firebreak' lockdown. There will also be some timetable changes to a number of Aberdare services to improve connectivity. 

The new tier system is in operation across Scotland, but if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.

We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Families to explore more with new summer travel ticket in Sheffield

Sheffield families can enjoy days out in Yorkshire and Derbyshire during the summer holidays has with a little help from Stagecoach.

 

The Stagecoach Family Explorer ticket offers up to two adults and three children unlimited daily Stagecoach bus and tram travel to hundreds of attractions and destinations across South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire for £10.

 

Graves Park, Millhouses Park, Meadowhall and Valley Centertainment are just some of the places families can visit in Sheffield.

 

Families can also travel further afield to destinations such as Doncaster Dome, Cannon Hall Farm, in Barnsley, Magna Science and Adventure Centre, in Rotherham, and Queen’s Park, in Chesterfield.

 

John Young, commercial director at Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: “Families can use the Explorer ticket to see the sights in Yorkshire and Derbyshire and save the pounds this summer.

 

“We hope it will encourage families to get out of the house during the school holidays and visit more of the fantastic places this area has to offer.

 

“Activities such as swimming, zoos and go karting are all a short bus or tram ride away, meaning families can have countless adventures this summer made cheaper with the Explorer ticket.

 

“Our low floor, buggy friendly buses take the stress out of the journey and could save families more than £13 on one day’s travel.”
