In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

Summer school holiday bus timetable changes in Sheffield
A number of bus timetable changes will be introduced in Sheffield this summer during the school holidays.
To reflect the alterations in traffic conditions, Stagecoach Yorkshire’s services 1 and 25 will operate up to every 15 minutes on weekday daytimes throughout the summer holidays.
Service 52 will operate up to every 12 minutes on Monday to Friday daytimes. Combined with First South Yorkshire’s 52a, it means there will be a bus every six minutes.
There will be minor changes to timetables on services 86 and 88 to reflect the summer traffic, but the frequency will remain the same.
From Monday to Friday during the day, service 120 will operate up to every 12 minutes. Combined with First South Yorkshire’s 120, it provides a bus service every six minutes.
Changes to the timetable to improve punctuality are also being introduced on services 57 and 265.
John Young, commercial director of Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: “During the school holidays, we see a natural drop-off in the amount of traffic on the roads. These timetable alterations are designed to reflect this change and take into account revised journey times with fewer vehicles operating over the summer.”
The changes come into effect from Sunday 17 July.
