We all need to do whatever we can to protect each other from Coronavirus, so in line with the latest government guidance, there are measures in place to help you to travel with confidence, including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering when using public transport, throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can and take your litter with you. In   Barrow    a normal Tuesday service will operate with all services finishing around 19.00 hours.

In   Carlisle & Penrith    a normal Tuesday service will operate with all services finishing around 19.00 hours, excluding the 79 service and 104 service which will continue all day Tuesday as normal. 

In   Kendal & the Lakes  all services will operate a normal Tuesday service. 

In   Lancaster & Morecambe    a normal Tuesday service will operate with all services finishing around 19.00 hours. 

In   West Cumbria    a normal Tuesday service will operate with all services finishing around 19.00 hours.

No buses will run on Christmas Day.  

 

Do buses run on Boxing Day?

In   Barrow    a Boxing Day service will run on Service 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6/X6.  

In   Carlisle & Penrith    a Boxing Day service will run on service 61/61A/61B, 62, 67, 76, 79, 104, 301 and 685.  

In   Kendal and the Lakes    a Sunday service will operate. 

In   Lancaster & Morecambe    a Boxing Day service will only run on service 1A, 2X, 6A, 40, 55, 100.  Service 555 will operate a Sunday timetable and service 755 will operate as normal. 

In   West Cumbria    a Boxing Day service will only run on Service 30, 46B, 47, 50B, 78, 301 and X5.
