The Lincoln Knights Trail

The Lincoln Knight's Trail is running from 20 May to 3 September 2017

As a collective, the 35 sculptures will form a route through Lincoln commemorating and celebrating the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the Charter of the Forest.  Each Knight has been sponsored by local businesses and organisations across Lincolnshire.  To check out all the 'Knights' go to

How to get there...

We have many bus routes in and around Lincoln City connecting you from the outer communities into the buzz of the City Centre.  You can enjoy a whole day travelling around on the buses finding all the Knight's using the Lincoln dayrider ticket.  Or if you're planning on spreading out the trail, why not buy a Lincoln megarider to use all week!  For full details and ticket options, go to our ticket page.

Lincoln Park & Ride...

If you don't live on a bus route into the City, why not Park & Ride?

Lincoln Park & Ride runs Monday - Saturday from Waitrose on Searby Road, Lincoln, LN2 4DS, with a bus provided every 15 minutes from 7am (8am on Saturday) with the last return bus departing at 6:20pm (services at peak times early and late in the day may vary).

A little more about Norman...

Stagecoach East Midlands have sponsored The Knight of Many Colours for this years Lincoln Knight's Trail.

Norman was designed by Anna Carter, a 15 year old year ten student at Caistor Grammar School.   Anna and her family nicknamed the Knight 'Norman' as he took up a lot of time and... as he has replaced the dining table in their home!  He was part of the family!

Anna recorded herself painting Norman's triangles earlier in the year...
