Timetable changes for November 2017

Planned service changes

In Perthshire, we run a diverse mix of commercial and tendered services in both city and rural environments, which brings a range of different traffic and operational conditions.   Some of these services have not changed significantly for many years, but during this time the economy and people’s travel patterns have evolved considerably.  We are therefore planning to significantly overhaul the network to increase capacity on key routes and make other improvements to the services on offer.

We have been reviewing our network of services across Perth & Kinross and have carried out consultation through our website and with local authorities during September 2017, with any changes now due to take effect from Monday 20 November 2017 as opposed to the original proposed date of 13 November.

We will also take the opportunity to make some small adjustments to services in Fife and Dundee to reflect feedback received since the Express network change in June and other recent council tender changes.

From 20 November we will be introducing cheap day returns across parts of our network.

To coincide with these changes, we have introduced a range of new cheaper day return tickets, which can be purchased from the driver, valid on certain journeys across Fife, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Angus.

These new day return tickets are valid on a selection of our services, ranging from £5 to £8, making a day out with with family or your daily commute cheaper!

The consultation is now closed and any changes will be announced very soon.
