Service 65 Connecting Perth and St Andrews

Say hello to our service 65!

Service 65 goes between Perth and St Andrews, calling at Bridge of Earn, Newburgh and Cupar providing journeys up to every hour, 7 days a week. Service 65 launched in August 2024 and offered a new direct link for commuters, students and people looking for a day out.

Service 65 connects with Moffat & Williamson service M36 which serves Newburgh and Glenrothes, allowing for onwards connections. Moffat & Williamson day and weekly tickets are accepted on service 65 between Perth and Newburgh. All you have to do is show the driver your ticket before you board.

  • Perth Concert Hall

Get a lively mix of music, theatre, dance, art, and events at Perth concert hall. Also, community activities and you can meet and eat in their spaces.

  • Perth Art Gallery

Perth Art Gallery is home to artwork from the 16th, 17th, 20th & 21st century, along with a popular family area as well as the Art Gallery Shop, coffee bar and toilets.

  • Perth Museum

The new Perth Museum opened it's doors recently after a redevelopment project. You can see the Stone of Destiny, the Unicorn Exhibition and much more that highlights the objects and stories that put Perth and Kinross at the heart of Scotland's story.

Things to do in St Andrews

  • St Andrews Old Course

The famous old course is a must for Golf enthusiasts or even if you just want to soak in the atmosphere without playing yourself by seeing some of the iconic holes on the course. The British Golf Museum is also just a short walk away.

  • Historical Attractions

You can explore the ruins of what was Scotland's largest cathedral, discover the history of St Andrews Castle or find out the history of St Andrews in the St Andrews Museum. 

  • St Andrews Aquarium

Take a deep dive with St Andrews Aquarium. See animals from sharks and seals to penguins and meerkats.

You can buy single, DayReturn, DayRider and MegaRider tickets on board from the driver - and you can pay using contactless to avoid handling cash, however our drivers do give change if necessary.

DayRider, MegaRider and Flexi 5 tickets can be purchased using the Stagecoach Bus app, and MegaRider and MegaRider Xtra tickets can be bought from the Tickets page on our website.
