Try out our brand new electric hybrid buses along the coast!

We've invested £3.5million in a fleet of 16 brand new innovative electric hybrid  double deck buses for service 7. The vehicles are low floor easy-access and fully equipped with leather seats, seatbelts, free wi-fi, USB charging points and contactless payment facilities.

Up to every 30 minutes

The electric hybrid vehicles, which run up to every 30 minutes on service 7, offer greenhouse gas reductions by 30% and are 10-20% more fuel efficient compared to conventional diesel powered vehicles. They are significantly lighter and quieter than previous models and have an engine stop-start system which allows the engine to turn off and driven in electric mode.

Beautiful coastal views

Customers can expect fantastic coastal views when travelling along the coast and enjoy the new heating and ventilation system which will maintain a steady temperature of between 17-18ºC for passenger comfort. The low floor not only improves the ease of boarding the bus for customers with mobility restrictions  but will also reduce boarding times for wheelchair users. Shopping in town, to work, to the beach - wherever you need to go, catch a new electric hybrid bus on Stagecoach service 7 from Dunfermline to Rosyth, Dalgety Bay, Burntisland, Kirkcaldy and Leven. Travel further afield on the Stagecoach bus network across the East of Scotland.
