National lockdown restrictions are in place across England. Until 2 December, you should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons. From 2 December England will be returning to a 3 Tier System. Find out more about local restrictions.
A tiered system of protection levels is in operation across Scotland. So, if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.
We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Stay up to date on our Coronavirus page.
We’ve improved our range of U19 tickets to make a simple collection of tickets for young people aged under 19 - valid for 1 day, 7 days, 4 weeks or 13 weeks.
U19 tickets are priced the same as student tickets, so all young people can save on bus travel. No matter whether it's travelling to work or meeting mates at the cinema, these new tickets provide great value travel for U19s in East Scotland! Remember though, we require proof of age when you purchase your ticket and every time you use it. We suggest using a Young Scot card for this.
Please note that 4 week and 13 week tickets can only be bought online. 1 day and 7 day tickets may be bought on the bus or on our Stagecoach Bus app. Only 1 day tickets are still available in paper format - all other tickets must be loaded onto a StagecoachSmart card.

Proof of age is required for all U19 tickets. This means we need to see photo ID showing your age or date of birth when you purchase an U19 ticket and each time you use it.
We recommend using a Young Scot card as ID for U19 tickets. Young Scot cards can be obtained free of charge from schools and other educational institutions. More information is available on the Young Scot website.
If you're about to turn 19, keep in mind that students also get great discounts on travel with Stagecoach. If you have a valid student card, you can continue to travel at discounted prices.
