Unirider is the flexible student bus pass that gives you discounted travel anywhere within your  selected  zone -  pay  once and use it  as many times as you like throughout the term.

 

Unlimited  Stagecoach East  Scotland bus travel  with just one ticket. 

 

Once you buy your unirider, that's it, you just show it to the drive whenever you board a Stagecoach bus, along with your student ID.

Where can I travel with my unirider and how much does it cost per day?

 

If you can get there by bus with Stagecoach East Scotland, you can get there with unirider. 

 

We have 10 different unirider ticket zones in East Scotland, covering local towns and cities, as well as cross country travel on our Express City Connect network.

 

Please note, unirider ticket fares will be changing on Monday 28 August, a full  list of revised prices  is available now.

What do I need to get my unirider?

 

You will need to present your  valid student ID when you buying and using  your unirider ticket.
 

Where can I get my unirider?

 

Unirider is available for any students in either college or university.  You can  buy your unirider online    or get it from one of our ticket agents at:

 

  • Arbroath bus station
  • Dunfermline bus station
  • Kirkcaldy bus station
  • St Andrews bus station
  • Dundee bus station
  • Glenrothes bus station
  • Leven bus station
 
You can also purchase your ticket at the following Freshers' Fairs:
 
  • Dundee and Angus College  (Gardyne campus) on  Tuesday 29 August
  • Elmwood College on Wednesday 30 August 
  • Dundee and Angus College  (Arbroath campus) on  Thursday 31  August
  • Abertay University on  Wednesday 6  September
  • University of Dundee on Saturday 9 September 
  • Fife College (Kirkcaldy campus) on Tuesday 12 September  
  • Fife College (Dunfermline campus) on Wednesday 13 September  
  • Fife College (Glenrothes campus) on Thursday 14 September

FAQs

 
What do I do if I lose my unirider? 

 

We realise there's a small chance of you losing your ticket, please look after it as it's a valuable item. If you do lose your unirider,  contact our customer services team  with a crime reference or lost property number from the police, and a replacement may be considered.

 

A charge of £25 will be made for a replacement, (only one replacement in an academic year), payable to your local Stagecoach office.

 

Restrictions 

 

Unirider tickets are not valid on nightbuses N55 or N99.
