Following changes to government guidance in England, from 19th July more seats are available on our buses and standing is allowed.

Newmarket Road will be temporarily closed from Friday 26th March at 8PM until Friday 2nd April at 6AM for underpass works. This will affect bus services: 3, 11 and 12 which will be following diversions during this closure.
Bus Stop Closures:
Services 11 & 12:
Both of these services will be diverted via Mill road in both directions.
Outbound: Buses will serve Maids Causeway -> East Road -> Mill Road -> Brooks Road -> Barnwell Road and will then resume their normal route.
Inbound towards the City Centre: Buses will serve Barnwell Road -> Brooks Road -> Mill road -> Parkside -> Drummer Street.
The Guided Busway stop opposite the police station at Parkside will be used as an alternative stop for the Grafton Centre.
We will not be stopping along the route of the diversion.
Towards Whitehill and Fison Road: Buses will follow the normal route out of the city centre. They will serve the stops on Newmarket Road as far as the bridge, then do a U-turn and head back down Newmarket road. From here they will be diverted via: Coldhams Lane -> Barnwell Road -> Fison Road and resume the normal route from here.
Inbound towards the City Centre: Buses will serve the normal route to Newmarket Road and will then divert via: Maldon Close -> Whitehill Road -> Coldhams Lane -> Newmarket Road (serving the stop just after The Beehive centre roundabout ) and resume the normal route into the City Centre from here.
