Our Annual Student Bus Passes are available for each of our Town, Plus and East zones and cover your travel for the entire academic year, including evenings, weekends and half terms. 

Please note that we no longer offer Termly Student Passes.

FAQ's

How do I use my Annual pass?

Once you've purchased your Student Bus Pass online, you will receive a blue Stagecoach Student Smart Card in the post.

Simply show your Student Smart Card along with your Student ID card to your driver. Student ID cards include any valid UK card distributed by a college or University, this also includes TOTUM cards. The name displayed on your ID must match the name on your Student Smart Card. If your institution does not provide a student ID card, please email [email protected] to request a Stagecoach student ID.

Place your Student Smart Card onto the reader when boarding and then you'll be on your way! Please note that when first using a new Student Smart Card, you will need to hold this down on the on-bus card reader for a little longer than usual in order for the card to become active.

Where is my Annual pass valid?

We offer Student Bus Passes which cover a range of different areas within the Eastern region. You can choose a pass which allows for unlimited travel within our Town and Plus zones.

Our bus passes are valid on all of our East services including:

  • Citi network
  • Busway

 

 


What to do if I lose my pass:

Notify us immediately if your Student Smart Card is lost or stolen. You can do this by:

  • Using the 'My Account' section of the website.

  • Contacting the Stagecoach Smart Helpdesk on 0345 810 1000


Terms and Conditions:
  • Students must show a valid photographic student ID with their Student Smart Card when boarding. The name on the pass must correspond to the name on the Student ID.

  • Student Bus Passes are only valid for travel within the region selected when purchased.

  • Student tickets are not transferable and may only be used by the named student on the Student Smart Card.
