Stagecoach understands business – we are, after all, a big one ourselves. Our 2,383 employees and 750 buses provide 109 million passenger journeys on our services in Greater Manchester each year. It’s likely some of our customers already work within your organisation.
We also understand that the annual commuting and business travel needs of any workforce incur a significant cost to employee and employer – as well as having a major impact on the sustainability of the communities within which we operate. That’s why the Stagecoach Business Travel Club makes perfect sense for any responsible, value-conscious business.
We offer discounted flexible ticket schemes for tickets from one day to one year tailored to your individual requirements that will deliver the following benefits:
Save employees money on the cost of their existing commute with exclusive discounted rates on bus travel.
Reduce parking costs (and the risk of fines) both of which are becoming increasingly expensive in city and town centres.
Save costs on company cars and business mileage by using the bus for business travel.
Promoting sustainable commuting can help reduce problems such as parking and unnecessary congestion within local communities or a growing city-centre like Manchester.
It also supports environmental responsibilities, helping to meet your carbon footprint objectives.
Promotes positive health and wellbeing encouraging employees to be more physically active. Those who commute by car, on average, also endure higher levels of stress.
Combine the discounts we offer with either an optional business subsidy or an annual loan scheme to enhance your employee benefit programme even further.

The Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) Travel Choices team support organisations to promote walking, cycling, public transport, flexible working and car sharing to employees across the region.
After intervention from TfGM, results have shown an 11% reduction in staff who drive to work every week while 8% of employees changed from driving to a more sustainable mode.
Offering sustainable travel choices to our staff is important for us too. We work in partnership with TfGM and in March 2018 were awarded TfGM Travel Choices Bronze Accreditation at all six of our Greater Manchester locations.
