Fare Changes from Sunday 2 April 2017

Just to let you know some of our fares are changing.

From Sunday 2 April 2017, we are changing the price of some of our tickets in the Greater Manchester area.

We know that no-one likes changes to fares and we have tried very hard to keep fares as low as possible. Some of these tickets have not been changed for over two years and still represent great value compared to the cost of running a car.


Single fares

  • Single adult fares up to £2 - increased by 10p
  • Single adult fares over £2 - increased by 20p
  • Concessionary half fares up to £2 - increased by up to 5p
  • Concessionary half fares over £2 - increased by up to 10p
  • Young people aged 11 to 16 without an igo card - increased by 10p
  • Magic buses £1 fare - increased by 50p

dayrider

  • Adult mobile (exclusive on the Stagecoach Bus App) - £4.20
  • Adult - £4.30
  • Child - £2.10

We are reducing the price of our group and plus one tickets.

  • Group dayrider (2 adults and up to 3 children) - £8.50
  • Plus one (1 adult and 1 child) - £5.50


megarider

  • Manchester 7 day mobile (exclusive on the Stagecoach Bus App) - £14.00
  • Manchester 7 day - £14.50
  • Manchester 28 day* - £56.00
  • Manchester Xtra* (for all monthly payments from 29/03/17) - £56.00

Easyrider (children under 11 and children 11-16 holding an igo card)

  • Manchester 7 day - £7.20


Route specific tickets

  • Service 50 Quays day - £3.50
  • Service 50 Quays 7 day - £11.50
  • Magic dayrider - £3.60
  • Magicrider 7 day - £9.00
  • Middleton dayrider- £3.50
  • Middleton 7 day - £12.50
  • Service 38 7 day - £12.00
  • Stepping Hill 7 day - £6.00


There is no change to the price of the Sale 7 day ticket or night fares.
Service 314 return fare withdrawn.

There are no changes to the current prices for the Wigan dayrider and the Wiganrider7 day tickets and fares for dogs.

As a result of these changes the prices of megarider tickets/vouchers purchased through employer schemes will also increase. Please contact your employer for details

Any new StagecoachSmart cards issued on the bus from 2 April will be subject to a 50p charge.
