Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Government Coronavirus Measures - Changes to Bus Services

Revised timetables in operation

This page was last updated at 15:00 on 23/06/2020.

From Monday 15 June we've been running increased services across Greater Manchester

As more people return to work, to help keep everyone safe we have reduced the number of seats available on our buses to promote social distancing, so we've increased the frequency of some of our services especially at our busy times.  From Monday 15 June you must also wear a face covering on public transport in England.

Check our latest timetables  or plan your journey  online or on the Stagecoach Bus App  before you travel.

The increase in services will ensure that you can have confidence in using the bus to get to work, education and leisure facilities as they re-open.

We have put in place extensive enhanced measures to keep buses clean and safe so you can feel confident about using them.

There is an enhanced cleaning regime which means buses are cleaned daily, with a particular focus on key touch points, with additional in-service cleaning.

To keep our staff and customers a little safer we are currently only able to accept exact fares, so our drivers will be unable to give you change. We strongly encourage contactless payments or you can buy tickets online or on the Stagecoach Bus App.

Social distancing measures are now in place on all bus services  and you can find our 10 point guide to travelling safely  here.
