Coronavirus Update Close

National lockdown restrictions are in place across England until 2 December but bus services are running as normal. You should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons.

In South Wales, all of our timetables will go back to what we were running before the 'firebreak' lockdown. There will also be some timetable changes to a number of Aberdare services to improve connectivity.

The new tier system is in operation across Scotland, but if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.

We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Stay up to date on our Coronavirus page.

Back to School Safely with Stagecoach

As schools re-start we are doing all we can to help pupils get there safely. We’re also making some changes to our bus services and times.

As well as increasing our cleaning measures and introducing social distancing on board our buses, we’ve added extra dedicated school buses and drivers, which means we can keep more of you moving safely.

What you need to know about our dedicated school buses:

Extra School Services

  • We’ve added dedicated services just for school pupils
  • Please check the front of the bus which will indicate if it's a school service..
  • All seats are available for use on the dedicated school services. Find out more here. In Wales most seats are available, find out more here.

Staying Safe

  • We’ve enhanced our onboard cleaning and are doing all we can to make our buses safe. Find out more in our travel with confidence video.
  •  We recommend that adults & children over the age of 11 years should wear a  face covering on school dedicated services, unless exempt.
  • Keep a safe distance when queuing at bus stops
  • Use contactless payments or have exact fares where possible, or if your ticket is available you can buy online or on our app.
