Travel by bus for free for a whole week in Aberdeen city! From Monday 20th May until Saturday 25th May we will be giving away free bus travel in Aberdeen to the readers of the Evening Express.
All you need to do is pick up a copy of the Evening Express, download the free Stagecoach app and apply the voucher code to your Aberdeen zone 1 ticket. It really is that easy!
This offer can only be redeemed on the Stagecoach mobile app and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Discount code limited to one use per day per customer. Voucher code only valid for use on an Aberdeen zone 1 dayrider ticket (adult or student). Offer not valid for mobile group tickets.
Discount code will be valid for the day of publish in the Evening Express and the following day ie the code on Monday 20th May will be valid from Monday 20th May until the end of the day on Tuesday 21st May.
With your free Aberdeen zone 1 ticket, you can travel anywhere in the city centre and as far as the AECC, Dyce, Bucksburn, Kingswells and Peterculter.
Once you have claimed your free dayrider using your discount code, you can use it to hop on and off any of our buses in Aberdeen (excluding services 218/290/291).
All of our buses are fitted with live bus tracking for customers to access on our free mobile app. When you're not using your free ticket from the Evening Express - all of our buses fitted with contactless payment facilities but if you prefer to pay cash then don’t worry about having change because all of our drivers give change!
Service 727 offers a direct link between the city centre and Aberdeen Airport. Everywhere on this route is included in Aberdeen zone 1 meaning that your free ticket covers you for the whole route! The service departs from stance 14 in Union Square bus station before serving Union Street, Broad Street, Gallowgate College, Great Northern Road, Auchmill Road, Dyce Drive and Aberdeen Airport. The service starts as early as 0330 making it the easiest way to get to the airport for those early morning flights and the last bus leaves the airport for the city centre at midnight. Our 727 buses are fully equipped with free wifi, USB charging and luggage racks – what more could you need!
Service 59 is another of our frequent city services.
Everywhere on this route is included in Aberdeen zone 1 meaning that your free
ticket covers you for the whole route! The service operates from Balnagask Road
in Torry to Guild Street before continuing to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and
Northfield. The service starts as early
as 0510 and the last bus is at 2330. Service 59 is operated by our fleet of
electric hybrid buses fully kitted out with free wifi on board!

Service 35 departs from stance 5 in Union Square bus station. The service operates via Rosemount and Westburn Road before arriving at ARI. The service then continues to Dyce via Bankhead and operates up to every 30 minutes Monday – Saturday and every hour on Sundays. The service is operated by our fleet of electric hybrid double deck buses fully fitted with leather seats, free wifi and USB charging!
Service X17 connects Union Square and Kingswells Park and Ride up to every 15 minutes through the day. The service operates via Woodend Hospital and Queens Road before terminating at Union Square. We operate commuter connections from the city centre to Prime Four Business Park in the morning and return journeys in the afternoon/evening. Your free ticket from the Evening Express will cover you for travel between the city centre and Prime Four Business Park as this is the last stop in zone 1. Service X17 continues to Westhill and Elrick passing Westhill Shopping Centre on every trip as well as peak connections to Arnhall Business Park.
Our Royal Deeside bus service operates between Union Square and Peterculter up to every 30 minutes during the day. Between the city centre and Peterculter we have more than 40 stops used by this service from Union Street to Great Western Road and North Deeside Road
