How much does it cost?
Our quick and convenient route offers a comfortable ride for a great price. Whether you’re using the service to get to work, or as a one-off to explore a new city, you can be confident that you’re getting a good deal.
To guarantee a seat you can pre-book at megabus.com. You'll need to book each individual journey you want to make, so for a return you'll need to choose your outbound and return journeys. At megabus.com a return trip will cost the same as two single journeys.
Concessionary pass holders and students with a valid ID or NUS card can show the driver their pass to get a discount when buying a ticket on the coach. The table below shows you how much your journey will cost.
**Kid for a Quid: Available at weekends and Bank Holidays only. If you have an adult, student, concession, Megabus or weekly ticket holder and you're travelling with kids - you can buy a ‘kid for a quid’ £1 add-on ticket. This allows you to travel with one child (aged 5 to 15) for one day. The ‘kid for a quid’ add-on ticket is available on route M2 during weekends and bank holidays. You can buy it on the coach and pay with cash or contactless. You can buy up to a maximum of two 'kid for a quid' tickets. Children must be accompanied by the adult ticket holder at all times when travelling.
Stagecoach Express M2 weekly tickets
We now offer weekly commuter tickets. From just over £5 per day you can get a whole week’s worth of travel, including the weekends! Our M2 weekly tickets are valid for 7 days on the trot, so when you’re not commuting you can use your ticket for days out at the weekend.
