Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales it is compulsory to wear a three layer face covering on public transport. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Coming from Canterbury?

Fancy a day at the seaside? Margate is well known for its sandy beach! Or, why not redefine ‘a day out at the seaside’ by visiting Dreamland – an amusement park based on a traditional English seaside funfair. If you’ve got an artistic side try the Turner Contemporary, an art gallery that presents a rolling programme of temporary ‘contemporary’ exhibitions.

  • If you’re going to Dreamland you need to get off at the bus stop on Marine Terrace outside the main entrance.
  • If you’re going to the Turner you need to get off at the bus stop by Cecil Street Council Offices

Also, don’t forget, every other bus continues to Westwood Cross too which great if you fancy a different shopping scene.

  • The last bus back to Canterbury from Margate is at 22:15 on Mondays to Saturdays and 21:45 on Sundays.
  • The last bus back to Canterbury from Westwood Cross is at 18:23 on Mondays to Saturdays and 17:28 on Sundays.
